  1. As a result, he has released The Best of Hefner (on Fortune & Glory) and Catfight (Cargo), a 2 CD collection of 43 unreleased songs, both in The full recording of Hefner's special live Peel Session performance from 23rd August in the eight piece We Love the City formation (amelia fletcher and a horn section - part of which.
  2. It's unexpected and disappointing that they have made an overambitious "concept" album that only parodies their best work. And there are no melodies here which can touch "I Took Her Love For Granted" or "Meant To Be" from the previous album, The Fidelity Wars, which you should buy. It's OK to change guys, just don't lose focus.

  7. Originally released 11th October on Too Pure. The third and final single from The Fidelity Wars, ‘I Took Her Love For Granted’ was released on CD and 7-inch with ‘To Hide A Little Thought’ (omitted from the 7-inch) and a Jonathan Richman cover, ‘A Bellyful Of Babies’, as its b-sides.
  8. Hefner is still one of my favorite bands, although they have since disbanded, no pun intended, okay maybe a little. Every song on this cd is memorable, meaningful, and heartfelt. The singer may not have the best voice, in fact some may say he has a terrible voice, but it's very distinct, which in many ways makes it more enjoyable and leaves a /5(7).
