  2. s Dubtribe Sound System established a house music scene becaue of its live performances record releases, and self-operated label, Imperial Dub Recordings. Comprised of Sunshine and Moonbeam Jones, the male-female duo met in San Francisco's thriving early-'90s house scene and soon after began making music together as Dubtribe.
  3. CD2 also starts a little slow, but features a neat remix of a Norah Jones song that is pretty good, but doesn't quite fit the Disco theme. There's also a remix of Mousse T's hot song "Is It 'Cos I'm Cool?" but frankly, the remix kind of sucks out the energy. Then we get to track 5, "I Can't Wait" which is a hot song, and then "Weekend" which is /5(24).

  6. This CD is a re-release of their older, classic stuff. They let you in on their intentions right from the start with "Sunshine's Theme", which sets the tone for the rest of the LP. The vibes get deeper and more and more transient, never faltering from the message of love, then the entire thing just blows up with the underground classic "Mother 5/5(3).

  8. in all, a great compilation. music ranges from happy, trippy beats to more serious, deep and richly textured works. some of the pieces, like 'memory part one' flow slow and deep. others, like 'sunshine's theme' and 'selene's song' are lighter. the first track on disc two is a long one, 30 minutes. but an interesting piece, ebbing and flowing, dipping and diving with intermixing beats and vocal /5(2).
